@chris thank you very much for saying all this. It has definitely been on my mind as well. I am already struggling with the harm existing policies/neglect of duty are doing folks like me, so have zero chuff for this fray or even discussion. But crikey I am glad others are turning towards it.

🧵I think what I find most infuriating is thanks to this covid brain injury most of my usual skills are currently unavailable: community building, organizing systems, making connections, fostering conversation, prioritizing and finding effective levers.

My ability to communicate or process information in real time is just shot. Which is a powerless and helpless feeling...

I was already going through my own transitional soul-angst before the world flipped to dark mode. I have definitely had to take a step back and think about what's happening, who I am, what I need, and what I can offer.
