@ricmac Alternatives, not easy. Quite some exist for developers or bloggers, though not many OSS CMS'es that can empower site owners and editors the way WP can (think you've already named nearly all, maybe add Joomla, Typo3, .. ?). I've always been looking around, seeing mostly proprietary systems/SaaS, heavy-investment custom builds based on OSS or UI's non-techs cannot really work with.
