i think that's a great idea. I only joined last week, after i disabled facebook

what i suggest is to follow @FediTips and have a look at http://fedi.tips on how to navigate for beginners. if you have any questions just tag them, and they will answer back, they are super nice and helpful. Have fun

haha, true that.

but maybe you need to follow some more people or hash tags? Im finding mastodon useful, nice, interesting etc.
basically all the things that fb doesn't have. (never had twitter)

It's not like fb here. You have to be proactive to curate your feed. Once you get the hang of it, you realise it's so much cooler than fb. Have fun!
