@aud curious to hear what you think they're aiming for. i was hoping it was the solution for me but it seems more 'i'm trying to generate an audience i can sell my publication to' rather than 'i want a place to share my ideas and if someone reads them then cool'. i might go back to micro.blog or stick with my original plan of hard-coding into a codeberg repository

as part of the roadmap of exposur.es, the plan is to host locally and that costs money!while the current host is certified by the Green Web Foundation and total costs to run the service (which include protecting your privacy with @protonprivacy for the email provider) are about $20/month, the goal is to procure hardware that will allow it to be 100% community managed & supported (and maybe even one day become its own ActivityPub platform).
