Looks like 0.8.1 came out today and seems like the top menu gets kicked to the side and login and register links presiste even after logged in https://community.nodebb.org/topic/6435/updated-to-0-8-1/5

I love the reward system and gamification.

I mentioned this before, I think in a plugin thread but here it goes.

The idea is adding more options to "If User's"
Example "Tags" or reputation with tags.

What I would like to see is this

Someone on my forums has helped other readers and racked up 100 rep with the tag apple.

So the math

If user's reputation + (Apple - Tag) is > then 99 then add to group (apple)

This way we get people who are actually helping into corresponding groups and can reward them or offer next level help to them.

Maybe we can't mix rep and tag's, but even just having tag's would open another level of possibilities

People in the other thread thought it was a good idea, honestly don't remember the thread was a while ago.

If there is already a plugin out there doing this, please let me know, but would be awesome to have it in the core system.

How about a category for classifieds

Don't have to make payments and what not

Just something to keep the category layout nicely and make some required fields like Image, Title, description, price etc..

I know I posted this in another thread somewhere, But I also feel this should be built in by default. If you look at any current CMS systems, yes there not forums, but they all support popular embeds. The idea is to make it as easy as possible for users. The less plugins we have, the more stable the core would be and I for one would like popular embeds as part of the core.

Just my 2 cents.
Forums have been on a slow decline due to group video chats and slack type services these types of features to me are a must in order to even be at the table.

I'm not sure how to go about looking over the server logs lifewithtech.net is hosted over at squarespace so don't have access to it's logs. And again I could put another site in the iFrame and it works fine.

OK curretnly Lavender is enabled, I did not have the composer plugin installed. I installed that and it seemd to fix the comment thing.

Hoever lavender is still not accessiable in ifram on desktop or mobile.

I used the same steps as @henrywright a few hours ago and works for me. So @julian if something broke in broke after my last post to the thread like 2hrs ago, You can use that as a time stamp. I was probably one of the first people to upgrade.

Did a git pull and received the fix merge error

FYI: I use a plugin so I will get notification when someone registers

I'm not sure you will want to get an email any anyone makes a post.
But you can watch a thread and get an email notification when someone posts there.
That's built in check your user profile settings.. Again, even this can become too much as your forum grows.
