@mastodonmigration With respect, I think noting the dangers we face is important. 1st because outlining them gives folks clear talking points to light fires under their non-voting acquaintances. 2nd because we do need to prepare. Not just for the worst-case scenario, but for the chaos that *will* happen in the next few months regardless of who wins. If Harris wins, Trump's gangs are going to try to fuck up the certification again. If he wins, they'll get bold and start targeting his "enemies."

VOTE EARLY THIS WEEKEND@mastodonmigration @KamalaHarrisWin Already done! So glad I live in a mail-ballot state.

LMAO if Beaver County, PA, is a "bellwether" then Harris has already won Pennsylvania and the whole election by a landslide.@mastodonmigration @maxkennerly This is great, but there's still room for caution, looking at 2022's results. We were up by an enormous margin at this time that year, but ended up with about 47% of the vote. If the current margins hold to the same pattern, that would put us at a final take of ~38%. That's still way more than the ~24% we got in 2020, so it's still good news for the rest of the state, but it worries me that we've actually pulled back from two years ago.

This is why early voting data is more predictive of election outcomes than polling. And the early voting data is looking good.@TonyStark Bonus: voting early means the volume of fundraising mails and texts declines!
