Trump kicked rather than pushed the overton window to the right last time he was in I expect this time will be much worse. But perhaps Canadians need to see it again to be reminded what a Conservative government potentially represents for us.

@chris I remain unconvinced that Smith, Pollievre, and the other Conservative hacks in the various provinces aren’t just going to sign us over to the Americans wholesale for a healthy kickback a metric fuckton of oil money. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

@AlisonCreekside @chris These people will scream until they turn blue about wasting taxpayer’s dollars and then go to Florida to kiss the ring in hope that Trump can be reasoned with or subdued enough by flattery and attention that he won’t fuck us over. But he will anyway.

If I was CSIS I’d be keeping an eye on those conversations. I wonder if the subject of Alberta joining the US has come up yet.

@chris Hope you don’t mind if I ask for an update on this, I used to work at Sproat Lake and saw the Mars doing maintenance runs, that would have been 2014/2015, I thought she was coming down to Victoria indefinitely?
