@mahryekuh Ah that's unfortunate. If it weren't for Firefox I too might have been a Vivaldi user. Ungoogled Chromium sounds nice in theory, but if I recall correctly it also strips out Google Cast support.

I hope that https://ladybird.org/ turns out a success. It's an interesting project.

@mahryekuh I've been using Firefox these last few years. Google has been making user-hostile changes to Chrome for a while. Most notably thwarting adblockers via Manifest v3, and adding "privacy" features that share data with advertisers. Browsers that are based on Chromium such as Vivaldi have to play within Google's rules.

But Firefox hasn't been great either, with financial pressure to find new income through sponsorships and such affecting their decisions. I'm eager to try new options.
