@Natanox I was planning to learn to use GIMP at some point in the future myself!
What's unfortunate is that a lot of PS users find it tricky to adapt to GIMP, and are put off by it as a result!

@Natanox I didn't have any in mind at present, it was more for the future, plus as a content creator (even if I'm on a break atm), I need to be able to keep up with gaming platforms; I currently have a PS4 Pro, and was planning to get the PS5 Pro as an upgrade!
@Natanox I'm still debating getting a PS5 Slim (Pro would be nice, but not very appealing right now), especially as I have bills to pay, as well as getting a bunch of HDDs for my NAS so I can deploy it and wipe my old array so I can fix it for other tasks!
@Natanox I'm a bit more lax on console DRM admittedly, as I understand that consoles are a lot more locked down in a regular situation. However, on the flip side of that, I'd regard 6th gen consoles and older as fair game for emulation, probably 7th gen as well! As for PC, I find having mine locked down as abhorrent. I don't mind hacking my consoles if I know what I'm doing though!
@Natanox I probably should start looking at the PS5 Slim, as that's probably the only way I can guarantee that I'll get an optical drive!
I was planning to get a PS5 Pro at launch, but recent events have caused me to reconsider that position!
@Natanox Hmm... I'm not sure atm, but keep a hold of that list as I might make an extra post that allows those games to be listed! I too get backups from non-official sources (like the Internet Archive), if I bought the game electronically via Steam, GOG, etc... If that's what you meant?
Okay so I've been influenced by a comment I saw in a YT video for this question, but... Name at least 5 games/mods/source ports/similar (or more if you want) that you would always want to have on your PC (all OSes, also has modest system requirements) in the event that you lost access to the internet for a few days. Also, note that the downloads must have an independent installer, so nothing that needs a client like Steam to install!
