Greetings Everyone!

Its your boi sharlet here again with another problem lol. So I have setup an forum recently but I cannot register there the only way to acess the forum as an user for me is to login as the admin rather than that no way of registering!!

I have tried to ask @PitaJ ( Global Moderator ) as he helped me alot with my forums but sadly hadnt recived an reply!

It would be great to know why am I experiencing this issue!

It actually worked for me somehow so thats why I suggested that him it.

@sharletsings123 have you run ./nodebb setup? It should have created a config.json file. Can you copy or take a screenshot of the complete output of ls /opt/nodebb? There should be a lot more directories and files than that.

Sorry to take time to reply the ./nodebb setup had errors so I wanted to delete the directories but I restarted again its fine for me ill say you if I have any problems through a DM or here!!

It is because you havnt did sudo systemctl enable mongodb on the root folder so just ho to main folder cd then type sudo systemctl enable mongodb then go back to your installation!!

I dunno where is the config exact is because i wanna use sudo nano but I know where I installed it but cant find where is it because I did /opt/nodebb/config.json but it just created a new file!!

I have git cloned it at /opt then did the rest at nodebb so its like /opt/nodebb

This is something you'll have to ask your server provider.

So today I was setting up my nodebb forum and I had typed somethings wrong so I wanted to re-edit it later in config.json but I dont know its exact location, if you know please say thanks!

And how can I link the domain phforum.tk to my nodebb server?

I am using digitalocean, ubuntu 16.04.2
