New #introduction: I'm a Kurdish researcher working on political violence, its effects, and its legitimation and delegitimation. Lately I've been focusing on dehumanization and racism. I studied my PhD at the National University of Colombia and I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher at El Colegio de México. Most of my posts are in English or Spanish. I also write about West Asian and Latin American politics, anti-intellectualism, media discourses, digital platforms, and higher education.
