With the inbuilt composer it's possible to upload a file and then reference it in markdown.

I see that's not possible in BBCodes Plugin.

One other problem I have encountered is that when I installed the latest version I did not get a BBCode button bar at the top of composer and was unable to submit posts.

Edit: I have now been able to fix that problem and have recreated the steps that causes it.
If you install the BBCodes plugin and deactivate the composer and markdown plugins there is no issue. If you uninstall the composer and markdown plugins then the BBCode plugin seems to have issues. Perhaps it's localised to my installation but maybe others have the issue.

Is it correct that this plugin removes the ability to upload files and display files ?

It's possible to upload mp4 files with the file upload function, so being able to play those using flow player would be very cool.

If anyone wants to tackle that I think it would be very useful.

I've enabled the BBCode plugin however does that mean that the ability to upload images disappears ?

Maybe I have configured it wrong in the settings, but I was able to upload images prior to adding the BBCode plugin.

Any help appreciated.

Edit: I've now solved this. It appears it's not possible to upload files with the BBCode plugin installed.

I am reading through the NodeBB docs. However something confuses me.

Is imgur the only option for images on a NodeBB forum or can images be uploaded and displayed directly without using imgur ?

Would somebody please be able to explain how difficult it is to move a NodeBB from one server to another. Perhaps there is some documentation on the subject, but I haven't found it, if anyone could point me there I would appreciate it.

I'd like to be prepared in moving between Digital Ocean droplets as our forum grows.
