@andre buddy systemit's mostly "who do you trust to run status.$yourdomain.com"
e.g., I could swear tumblr and twitter used to run each other's status pages.
you could obviously ping someone out of band and say "hey your site is down" on mastodon

really tells you what I think about his clickbait, reckless youtube channel.
yes, preference aggregation while satisfying all voters (or not having spoiler candidates) has lots of papers on the subject.
no, not in a million years would I have picked a shredded ballot as a thumbnail in an election where a candidate claims it's rigged. it just leads to angry people.

how long do you think it'll take for the election to be called? how about officially certified?
e.g., the Zephyr that departs from Emeryville California tomorrow at 8:25 AM will arrive in Chicago at 2PM the 6th
-
huh.huh. the whole of game of thrones, end to end, is around 70 hours 14 minutes.
trying to get a sense of scale for the amount of time.
apollo mission seems long, that's like the 16th.

I really do not understand Threads' "picked for you" notifications.@thisismissem same idea as youtube's "personalized" notifications.
I like the idea of letting users pick their algorithm and have it behave as expected.
e.g.,
"max 2 / week from each channel"
or other algorithms they get to pick
