ok this is cool ! haha
This is interesting if someone wants to use a webkit to wrap nodebb forum. Html5 provide some level of notification standards.
Both of which need a server, maybe within the core of nodebb engine (use the nodebb notification engine) to push the message out and using the webkit to serve the site.
As my community is mostly based on mobile device, they reflect some mobile issues. I will use this thread to update if there is anything we can help the development of nodebb to a better board.
Mobile video is not scaling well, seems like they way it is embedded, not sure if there is anyway to let it scale automatically on mobile.
After the reply button is pressed, users report that nothing happen. I did some investigation and realized that it is because the reply box is below at the bottom of the board and hence the user will need to scroll all the way down to see the reply box. Maybe it can automatically bring the box downwards. It will also be cool if this box can be scale-able in a non mobile setting, because when i was trying to write a long post, confining it at a corner did not help much.
With the upcoming push bullet plugin, I actually support @luke ideas... currently I have to "watch" the thread to get push notification from push bullet. I think it is kinda counter-intuitive.
@julian I m thinking if it is possible to @<group name> to "announce" to the whole group... I seems to have the group there but it does not works...
As Julian knows, I m always interested to build and wrap nodebb using a web view.
Manage to do build the basic stuff, but it seems the i cannot do any posting, not sure if it is due to how the composer is coded. Anyone can help?
