@coffeegeek @coffee @espresso
Boxed up somewhere in my basement for a couple of decades is the first machine and grinder I ever bought (in the mid '90s), the black Gaggia Baby with the MDF grinder and a tray that (I believe) held both appliances. I kept it for sentimental reasons.
I didn't understand how to make a proper espresso until I began reading and participating in your older website forums. I learned about YOU from your incredibly detailed Baratza grinder review below. Shortly after that in 2013, I bought a Rancilio Epoca ST-1 and the Preciso with the Esatto scale attachment. I'm still using the Epoca, now with a Baratza Sette 270Wi while my new ECM Synchronika sits in an unopened box, waiting for our imminent move to a new home.
What you have done to help people understand espresso and post about equipment is unmatched by any other geek that I've ever discovered. And I truly appreciate you.
