I don't understand people who travel to a country B, being from country A and then go to a restaurant claiming to serve food from A.

In 1988 when being in Singapore we only went to an "Italian restaurant " the first night after arriving there, because we never experienced Asian food then. Never after that day. Hawker centers are great, as well as being taken to fancy Chinese restaurants by locals.

We learned to admire spicy Asian food then!
