My endgame is not Mastodon. My endgame is not Threads. My endgame is not Bluesky.@quillmatiq The art of good conversation, albeit abridged to some extent, seems to have become eclipsed by CDN fuelled Social Networks where owning a Louis Vuitton hand bag somehow makes someone an “influencer” or what used to be called a “trend-setter”. I’ve always gravitated to IRC, XMPP & similar, the BBS revival & the original “Galaxy” social space on Tor Hidden Services, back in 2013-14. Today people seem to form closed groups for more meaningful conversation. Times change.
