@wdlindsy if H5N1 bird flu gets loose in the population while vaccine skeptics run health services, 50% of Americans will die. I can't see that ending well.

@chris forced air using the existing system. Ductless would require multiple units and there is a basement too. I think the forced air is the best choice for this building.

The furnace guy just left. The cost to convert to heat pump system is just over $20k but for our income the grants available total $16k. So we'll get reduced heating costs, cooling in summer and and ultra violet air cleaner for about $4k.
