@skinnylatte That article didn’t mention Sea Otters. I thought the cool story of the resurgence of the kelp forests was because we protected sea otters who then ate the sea urchins. Has something gone wrong with the sea otters?

Applying for my California fishing license because I’ve heard that I can go to the shore near my new workplace and pick up some free uni. Oh, and that I’ll be helping the ecology of the ocean if I eat lots of free uni. -
Also, in case anyone is counting, Starlink is now 63% of all active satellites.@sundogplanets @PhoenixSerenity Not just influence. Being the transport, it would be easy to snoop their activity, and trivial to locate them. Not that great an idea for any kind of activist. If you know them, tell them about VPNs, at a minimum.

This happened in WA, but could happen anywhere there is drop-boxes.@ike I had a Harris/Walz sign by our road in Fall City. It was driven over twice. The first time someone kindly put it back up. The second time it vanished along with a neighbor’s sign. They were two of only three I’d seen in the entire town. This election is notably different than any in the past. It’s not just teenage “antics”, is it?
