I think I have an idea of why the internet is so toxic, and why it breeds so much toxicity. -
Itβs been a year and a few months since we stood up our Mastodon instance.@mike I was wowed by the #Flipboard #Fediverse integration as presented in the #FediForum. Congrats on letting your clients expand their reach!
And it did not stop there: I have just found that I can follow curated mags from my Fedi account! Beautiful!

If you're interested in shaping the future of the #fediverse the #FediForum is a great place to start. I really enjoyed the friendly environment and the excitement around the open social web. These people are burning some piles of neurons creating tools, specs, research, governance, and more.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to migrate your data as well when you need/want to move to new servers in the #fediverse? @lisarue is leading a lot of work creating a spec towards that: https://swicg.github.io/activitypub-data-portability/lola.htmlWouldn't it be nice to be able to migrate your data as well when you need/want to move to new servers in the #fediverse? @lisarue is leading a lot of work creating a spec towards that: https://swicg.github.io/activitypub-data-portability/lola.html

Since January, @kissane and I have been researching governance on Mastodon and Hometown servers of about 80-2000 people. That research is now available!!!Great to hear you'll be there @darius. Hope we can gather a good crowd to hear more about your research with @kissane. I'll try to read some before the #FediForum @fediforum
