My coworker and I were talking to another coworker about his fears on immigration. We both told him how the economics of mass deportation and clogging the legal system will certainly cost the US more than whatever meager benefits an immigrant can receive undocumented.

And then I joked

"Unless you do Nazi math."

And I saw his eyes light up in realization.

My honor won't let me. That project will sit on that shelf mocking me until it's done and judging me when I buy another project on that shelf.

This cycle will repeat until the shelf falls on me and I die
