I've recently looked into allegations of sexual abuse about female convicts and first nation peoples in the colony of Botany bay in Australia.

Let me tell you it's not a pretty picture.

I will post about it when I collect my thoughts, still in shock about it.

But basically it boils down to;

1 - Women were legally the property of their husbands.

2 - The idea of consent was very very different

3 - Your likelihood of reporting abuse largely depended on your Social standing as a woman.

Aboriginal women were treated like livestock.

That's the "virtuous" past these maggots crave.

Bandwidth is the killer.

I would like #peertube to succeed...
But I don't know how that is possible.

My community TV station (c44.com.au) run a "streaming" service for a few years, and we have tried a few hosting sites..

...every time what killed us was bandwidth costs. Any remotely successful programs blew the cap for the month.

I don't see how you can avoid that.

I always understood #CBDC to be Blockchain based.

We don't call it blockchain anymore.

Have a look at the proposed "Digital Identity token" that's one of the solutions for the authoritarian "Internet ID" law that's just passed by ALP and LNP.

It's basically a NFT.

Also, AFAIK, like all the other nations Australia has not given up on #CBDC

You are 100% correct...

...right now.

But consider this, upper limits of AI transcend human performance constraints.

One of the possible paths for AI development is you have all these multiple agents working in orchestra.
One is responsible for overall architecture.
One for environmental impact.
Etc etc.
