Temperate rainforests are a rare and beautiful ecosystem where trees, ferns, mosses, lichens, liverworts, and other species abound. The cool damp climate provides a globally unique environment for plants and animals to thrive. Where it once covered 20% of the UK, it is now less than 1%.

Throwback to a spectacularly fun evening spent under the #aurora in Scotland. I'm not much of a night sky photographer, but it was so incredibly special to see this in one of my favourite places on earth - and with good company no less! What a way it was to wrap up a week's long trip to the Isle of Harris back in November 2023.
