@leroy thanks man, I appreciate the advice, I'll try some simpler TTRPGs before checking D&D.

I have always wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons, it just seems like the kind of geeky thing I'd enjoy, sadly 1) the game doesn't seem to be popular here, and 2) it's a group activity so one have to coincide with others interested in playing. -
I think #JavaScript could really use a `getElementsByIds`.@zachleat @khalidabuhakmeh yes, I read the article, I'd swear Array.flat was added like 2 years ago, I guess I'm more disconnected from the JavaScript world than I thought

I'm not averse to option 1 but it'll definitely require to put in a lot of work. I guess I'll start with option 2 and if things go smoothly I'll try to start a local group.

As a film aficionado — which probably nobody besides myself consider me to be — I appreciate what came before as much as the modern classics, that being said, if there's a genre I've never been able to get into that'd be Western, and this article perfe...@leroy glad the article can spark some conversation! I wish the author was on the fediverse to give her a shout-out. I too enjoy the Western settings, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul nearly as much if it weren't for the spaghetti Western influence, but yeah, the genre is sadly built on pro-racism and pro-colonization ideas, which sucks.

The Western’s Long Glorification of Oppression
The Western, a quintessentially American, and Texan, film genre, has mistold Texas history since its beginnings.

Apparently Netflix doesn't allow you to download movies or shows on their Windows app anymore, why do we keep giving these assholes money? ️@leroy I rarely use it, my girlfriend is the one who uses it the most — and pays for it —, we just wanted to watch this reality show that is hosted by some of my favorite French rappers and since she doesn't have an internet plan at home (just mobile data) I was gonna to download it on my laptop to watch it on the weekend like we'd done before, but that's not an option anymore.

They also got rid of the cast function on all mobile apps, so we are paying more for less functionality.
