I've just migrated my activity pub account from indieweb.social to vmst.io. So far so good
There are weird wrinkles along the way, like having to export and import CSV files individually instead of using the all-in-one archive export, and entering new profile description and links etc. is manual.
All in all though, relative to other places especially, I'm impressed. Kudos to the people who made this possible 
I've zero complaints about @indieweb.social's admin or management. Switching instances is due to factors outside their control. Thanks for being my first fedi home, and a good one!
