Caught myself hooked to 'Infectious Generosity' by Chris Anderson today, a treasure I found (FREE) at a Microsoft event. It brought to light the media's love affair with the worst of humanity.

Positive tales shouldn't be the outliers, but the norm. We're not denying problems, just bringing balance. Because the world is filled with generosity - often overlooked by the headlines.

Last night's coding rush birthed 'The Bright Side' bot on Mastodon (and I will create one for Twitter, BlueSky and Threads soon). Curating feel-good stories to add some much-needed balance in our feeds. A beacon among the negativity.

Our simple choices can shift the narrative from fear to hope! Media outlets pay attention to audience engagement, we can leverage that power. Here's to highlighting tales of generosity, kindness, connection.
