So the charge circuit (?) has died in my x230T — I can still power the laptop over the mains but it will not charge any batteries@theresnotime @anatra did it ever charge the non-lenovo one? They do battery authentication, in case you are not aware yet (which you probably are tho) - Dani is currently struggling with that in her X230

New LF OS build is out!People just trying to run LF OS on their computers is very important for me as many computers are very different from each other and it working on one does not tell if it works on even just most so I really need that data^^`
The time investment is usually pretty low - prepare USB stick and try to boot from it and if it did boot into a terminal, try to type something
If it crashes maybe take a picture, if it crashes hard and reboots, maybe record a video
In any case pls just tell me "device XYZ works/doesn't work" (device being e.g "ThinkPad X230" or "ThinkPad T15p Gen 3", more specific is better, I will happily take model codes or something instead of friendly model names)

- kernel is now C++! That brought some code changes that might already improve stability
- we can boot on systems without functional (legacy) PIT - but now require a functional HPET in exchange x)
- a random page fault was fixed, maybe, hopefully
Get it while it's hot x3
Download locations:- just plain download: https://praios.lf-net.org/littlefox/lf-os_amd64/-/packages/225
- apt: https://apt.svc.0x0a.network/ (instructions on landing page)

Could you please try this LF OS build on your computers?Could you please try this LF OS build on your computers?
You should boot into a terminal with some nice ANSI art and be able to type - if only for a short time until it panics x)
