@chris oh so true - once every last tree is cut, those companies will move on to "greener" pastures in countries with fewer environmental protections. They talk about "fibre supply" as if it didn't mean that the trees they are cutting are getting smaller and smaller. They will never again have the volumes of the 50s 60s 70s

@gemelliz @AlisonCreekside let's not forget "BC Rising" an offshout of "Freedom Rising" which came out of the convoy movement. Vancouver Island convoys were mainly organized out of Campbell River.

@AlisonCreekside @gemelliz yet federal Conservative candidate for North Island - Powell River, Aaron Gunn, was part of the BC Con leadership team behind this "historic" win. And Poilievre has been here TWICE in the past year for large rallies. Does that tell you something?

@chris this absolutely does not explain North Island, unless you have some skinny that I don't have.

@chris I think you are right Chris that they are counted last. From what I've read it will be October 26th/27th before all the results will be available in nail-biter ridings like mine - North Island.
