Yup, I can always pay someone to make it if it's not in their roadmap. I guess if it's not core enough it doesn't make sense for them.

I just found out NodeBB and didn't check the Mobile UI. But as far as I'm concerned, Engagment would be always higher with a dedicated App.

But you might be on the right track and with an already awesome UI, and maybe using Parse for Push notifications, a pretty and useful mobile App could be made from NodeBB forums, maybe with a similar monthly payment approach as Tapatalk. It could be a pro feature like hosted service.

I'd love that NodeBB guys did that, but maybe it's just easier for now to integrate with Tapatalk, not really sure.

At the end of the day, people really prefer apps over web in mobile. Even if they're HTML5 apps with a nice enclosure.

I would pay for a SMF one, if anyone is interested or working on that, let me know. Id be happy to help make it free plugin paying part of the development. @a_5mith

Hey, I think it Would be really nice to be able to use Tapatalk for Mobile Apps on forums using NodeBB. They have a nice API so maybe you're interested on connecting to it or working around. Not much else to explain.
