I can't use SMTP because of an error.

Tried to use gmail instead of my server hosting - email sender, I've failed because of some sort of authorization error. ( ı did change the option where we have to let less secure apps use gmail but gmail itself doesn't allow it. Even it authorized it.

Excellent theme.! there is an error on acp section, it is possible that is caused by tr language. There is an error on Nodebb update alert on acp and also, there is an another error on top right, where it says 'running nodenn 1.8.1' . It is changing to admin file path command.

I am thinking that it might be related about theme.

Hocam on numara tema olmuş, acp kısmında muhtemelen tr dil kaynaklı nodebb güncelleştirmesinde ve üst menüdeki 'running on 1.8.1 ( son versiyonda ) dosya yolu ( path) gözüküyor yazı yerine.

tema kaynaklı olabilir diye düşünüyorum. bilginiz olsun.

I have same problem.

Using VPS on GCP and i got this error.

While on digitalocean VPS, i don't have any error with same settings.

There is no firewall issue on GCP side as far as i know about. I am not sure what is the problem.

On log file, there is translation issue about fetching but it shouldn't be because digitalocean and gcp has same setting on setup.

Everything was working fine until 10-15 min later of setup.

I am getting error on GCP VPS but im not getting on digitalocean VPS.

That is really odd.

It is okay to see that package.json is there.

use this command npm install -g http-server@latest

or

npm init -y

and populate package.json file later with your taste.

Hello everyone!

Finally managed to installed fresh nodebb on gcp but i am getting this annoying error.

Nodebb 1.8.1 is working - latest-lookup-failed error.

This error doesnt show up on digital ocean but it does show up on GCP. ( google cloud platform )

No firewall issue, nginx -t -> says everything is okay.

i don't see any error log about related with that.

Does anyone has knowledge about this problem ?
