It sounds like bsky is scrambling to add capacity and so they have limited some functionality. At their scale, I am left wondering how exactly they are paying for it since I don’t think they have an actual revenue stream. Perhaps I am wrong on that.

I just got back from the gym - I’ve managed to get back up to 30 minutes on the elliptical machine. I forgot how much quieter my mind is after a good workout. A+ highly recommend.

It’s funny: I went over to X to start planning a purge of posts, and noticed that it’s easy to find the infosec people there by searching for “infosec.exchange” since many, many people have that in their display names 🤨

I just pulled the trigger on a new AC system for my condo. I expect this is one of the things that will become significantly more expensive in about 6 months.

Also, I learned that sea salt corrodes aluminum to dust. I did not know that.

I think I’m going to make my millions by creating some sort of security device to put in front of and protect enterprise firewalls from being hacked, since that is apparently a thing that is needed. And to answer your first question, of course it will have AI. I don’t know for what purpose yet, but it’ll be there.

I think i stumbled on the next billion dollar idea: AI bots to play video games for you. Playing video games can be mentally taxing - wouldn’t it be nice to offload that work to AI so you can do other things, like get a 3rd job to help pay for my game playing AI bot?
