Is it possible to give a user a specific group by using a mysql query (to another DB obviously) ?
I am looking to do it for some couple hours now and didn't find anything interesting.

I should say nodebb is awesome, the only thing i can say against it is it lack of documentation but this platform is really nice!
Ok, i'm not that much experienced in node but i'm gonna look into it.
Thanks for your replies guys!
Nobody to clear this point ? Its really important to me but there is no documentation about it.
Hi guys, me again!
Can someone tell me how reputation system works ? Is it "just" related to upvote/downvote ? Something else ?
Also how can i do to give members XX reputation when joining a group ? I wanted to do it through rewards but there is no "If user's group", is there any way to add it ?
gonna look, thanks again!
@yariplus Thanks for clarification,
How can i add a template page in the ACP widget menu?
Hi guys,
I'm wondering how i can change the user profile display?
As i see in ACP > widgets, there are 2 templates, global and groups/global.tpl. I guess i can add something like users/global.tpl to change widget management on their pages but i don't know how.
Also, i have found the custom field plugin but for some reason, custom fields doesnt not appear on profile page. As i see on it's readme.md, i should import a template, so maybe it's related
NodeBB 1.x.x, Persona, Flex Version (insert link on template in user's profile template wherever you like):
<!-- IMPORT partials/account/custom_fields_flex.tpl -->
So i guess it's the same thing but i just don't know how to do it.
Finaly managed to fix 502, needed to use node v4 instead of v6.
Still having an issue with this plugin when i try to login :
Registration Error
int-steam-unexpected-error
Last online "more than 1 month ago" i'm gonna try anyway, seems my only chance: D
Nobody ? That's the only thing which stop me to migrate to nodebb
Hi, i triied 2/3 steam logins plugins but noone seems reliably working, always ending with error 502 when someoen try to login // register through steam.
So my question is, ther is any working steam sso plugin ?
I hope yes, would need to leave nodebb otherwise
Hi everyone,
I managed to install and configure nodebb but i got something really weird since i deleted a user yesterday.
I was using this steam login plugin and then found that it doesn't ask steam user to enter mail addresse. So i decided to delete a user created by a friend to try another plugin but now, whenever i try to login / register with a steam account, i got redirected to 502 bad gateway.
Also, seems like this plugin isn't compatible with nodebb 1.0.3, can someone point me out wherre is the latest/stable release of this kind of plugin ?
Also some nginx error logs with hope it could helps:

Hi everyone,
I am currently switching from discourse to nodebb and saw that @bentael started to write a migration plugin in this thread. Does anybody know how goes this project ? Are users restored with same mails / creds ? Even if logged through steam login ?
Would be very nice to be able to backup my "old" discourse db :3
