i just moved my nodebb on a new server and upgraded to 1.11.2, also the latest material theme upgrade. sadly i realized that the redirect after login doesnt work anymore. Same at logout. i cant logout from my account. no error message in my console for this...

Any ideas`?

I just try to create a new forum for a gaming community... I love nodebb and it is so fast and easy to configure... sadly I‘ve got problems with cloudflare and ssl... as soon as i activate the cloudflare clouds , my nodebb looses connection... i cant imagine that i need to change something in my conf or Nginx configuration? It‘s the same url, same port.. and also the ssl certificate doesn’t work which is free on cloudflare... do i need to change something in my config files or activate my ssl in the Nginx files? I found a cloudflare tutorial here in the forum but it seems to be outdated, because later in the answers everybody wrote something like cloudflare works now with sockets so there’s nothing to change in the config files ... hope somebody knows what I need to do...

Im searching for a oauth2 plugin for twitch. I have found NODEBB-PLUGIN-SSO-TWITCH but can’t get it to work... has anybody tried to get that plugin to work? Or has somebody any other plugin where I can put in my id and secret for the oauth2 Login per twitch... thank you

So i don't need to have threats for the database? So my server 's got 4 cores, 8 threats, so i use 7 7 nodebb processes?! Seems there's no estimate like +- 300 users per process?

Hello, I would like to start a new nodebb forum, and I'm just searching for the perfect Server for my needs. I need to scale the nodebb forum , there will be some polls on the site from a livestream and so i expect more then 1000 simultaneous users... maybe 2000.. would like to hear some recommendations, before I buy the server... I still have a i7-6700 4 cores, 64 ram, so maybe that's enough for my need. But I sadly can't try it out, it needs to work at the livestream without any 503 errors... thank you for any advice...

Sure, you're right, but I need some public voting, maybe it's easy to let every User just vote once per ip... cookie... so it's not possible for now?

So min. one core has to be used for nginx? And if that's not enough I have to use a load balancer and use something like 2 Server a 8 cores. Both servers with clustering...?

@pitaj sorry , maybe i did Not get it... The Processes are the Ports that i use... So i use 4 Processes over 2 cores, how do i config 2 cores to use... ?

@pitaj Thank you... But really only 2 cores for 3000 simultaneous users... Woow. We used on a wordpress Site 8 cores and 64 RAM and Could Not handle 800 users. Would be great ...

I would like to create a new nodebb forum and Need some advice for really high Traffic Spikes... The forum is about Gaming and we have Spikes like 3000 Users at the Same time. Only sometimes when some youtuber or so Gives a shoutout. I plan to use a nginx as a Proxy and i've got a 8 core Server. I dont think that the 8 Cores can handle that traffic... Any ideas? Sorry for my bad english ️
