Suddenly (last few days?) -click on a link in a Google search results page no longer just opens the page in a new background tab.Suddenly (last few days?) <command>-click on a link in a Google search results page no longer just opens the page in a new background tab. It does that, but it also loads the page in the current tab (replacing the search results). If I <option>-click the link and select 'Open in new tab', it behaves correctly, and—this is weird—if I then <command>-click that same link, it will behave correctly (open only in a new background tab while leaving the search results page in front of me). However, any other link on that same results page will still behave wrongly.
As far as I can tell, the problem is limited to Google search results; <command>-click works correctly in all other contexts. And it is limited to Firefox; <command>-click works correctly on Google search result pages in Safari.
I removed the only recent add-on (TrackMeNot), to no effect. I cleared the cache and cookies, still no effect. I've confirmed I'm on the latest release version of FF, 132.0.2 (which might be the problem?). I'm running MacOS 12.7.6 ("Monterey", if we must).
Anyone? @octothorpe ?

In the first season of SNL, there was a parody advert for a razor called ‘The Triple Track’ which was simply a 3-blade razor cartridge with the tagline ‘3 blades… because you’ll believe anything’.@octothorpe Seven, as it seems.
