So, I've been looking around and I can't find anywhere to enable/control email verification and / or password resets. Neither work on my site (Although I think email verification is a planned feature!)
I'm wondering if it would be possible to run a redis-server from a SAN and then access it with multiple Node instances... hmmm..
This is probably a feature I would request. Even something simple like setting groups to be able to access / not access certain subforums... etc.
Got it reinstalled and working. Now drivers and software. Grrr..
I did know that markdown has images. Just didn't know if it would work.
Perhaps a live-preview button/windows for posts would be nice?
Look at the current footer. I'd think something like that would be appropriate!
Well, it broke during the update. I was going through an EULA for a TTF renderer included in 13.04 and hit a key accidentally.
Full reinstall time.
I submitted a pull request on the NodeBB github. Check it out!
Updating it to 13.04 today. Wish me luck!
Will do, from the looks of it you squashed that bug fair and square. Testing on both Ubuntu and Mac OSX don't reveal it happening anymore!
Oh gosh, so happy I did it. I didn't realise the install failed a few months back. I just thought the binaries were terrible for the longest time!
Here's a present for you!
I finally got round to being bothered to install the graphics drivers on my Ubuntu install.
Why not just allow a user to input a text URL to an image? Perhaps in a modal. It could then be inserted when they hit a button!
I cannot actually read anything past my fifth post in Firefox right now.
I'm currently browsing using Chrome, and the issue is not present.
** Edit: **Created a github Issue for this!
I know this has more responses. But they keep showing then not-showing.
If I drag a bit of text it sometimes appears. Not fun
Setup the modules globally and reinstalled NodeBB. Suddenly started working.
Humph, Can't see replies and my posts seem to be disappearing and reappearing.
The drag-drop to add images keeps popping up whilst I'm doing stuff. Really annoying as stuff seems to break when it appears.
This is the link!
