Goog is definitely guilty of killing useful apps - but that 297-item list has a lot of stuff that deserved to die (Desktop Search), and other stuff that was replaced by better / more secure software (Backup & Sync)
MS is guilty of this as well, but they didn't kill Reader, so the tech world doesn't hold a grudge as much
@killyourfm I get that moving from one soulless corporation to another isn't exactly great, but there is a Linux-based alternative already - not sure why they aren't going after the Win10 users more agressively
