@julian I do not think the problem is a DB issue, because i can log in as a user and use all the feature available on the platform but login as admin to the control panel is not possible. getting 504 error BAD gateway.

Please advise.

Are there any errors client side?: Yes the forums looks messy and cant post, reply or do anything else

Have you run it in dev mode with ./nodebb dev? Never did should I ?

Are you set up with multiple processes? I dont understand the question.

Are you using Nginx as a reverse proxy? Yes I do.

How did you set up the service? I used one of the guides on your wiki.

I tried to copy the log file in this post but i couldnt.

Please advise on how to stop NodeBB from crashing like this and access to admin panel.

@julian it does crash very often, even restarting the service doesnt work i have to restart the whole server to get NodeBB back to work.

For some reason i am no longer able to access the admin control panel, I enter my user and password and i end up in "504 Gateway Time-out".

PS: I can login as a user with no problem.

Why when i select the a group on my profile it doesnt get saved. for example i will select a group X then save it after that i will get a message the changes has been saved and when i refresh no changes were save.
