I told our providers they need to focus on what my daughter WANTS to understand better about herself. Not just “removing the autism so she passes”.

But yeah ABA is awful in a lot of ways more often than not so I get the harm reduction you’re doing (and hope this is ok I’m trying to give some extra context and am hoping its ok and again I don’t really disagree with the outcome just adding parent flavor here)
