You can’t win if you lose support of the working class.
Solidarity is the basis of left politics. But it has to be for the masses, or it is only half-way there!

Riddle me this, #AI bros. How can it be ”stifling innovation” to:
- Not coerce people to hand over their data for training?
- Ask people for permission?
- Transparency about environmental impact?
- Transparency about where being used?
- Liability for harms caused?
- Auditing of models for safety?
If these are stifling your innovation, you are breaking the social contract.
If you break the social contract, then you are not society and don’t deserve it’s benefits like tolerance or respect.
