Starting today, children under 18 are eligible for the Canadian Dental Care Plan."If you are a senior in #Alberta and you have income of over $31,080/yr, you do NOT qualify for Alberta provincial dental assistance no matter what Premier Danielle Smith says.
Under the Federal dental assistance plan that threshold is $90,000/yr." -

Is Premier Danielle Smith assuming Pierre #Poilievre will lose in 2025? Because if PP wins, there won't be a federal dental plan for her to opt out of.

"A week ago, Conservatives lost a 40-year Winnipeg stronghold riding to NDP."A week ago, Conservatives lost a 40-year Winnipeg stronghold riding to NDP. Last night, Conservatives edged out Liberals in a 30-year Toronto riding.
Canada's media barely noticed the Conservative loss in Winnipeg, yet pundits cry that #TorontoStPauls is “referendum” on the Prime Minister.
No one riding represents Canada. Shifts happen in both parties."

"If Prime Minister Trudeau is actually 20 points behind in the polls, and assured to lose the next federal election, why are Conservatives (with the generous help of media) trying so hard to convince you he needs to resign?"

"Someone who made $10M in salary last year criticizing the capital gain changes is kind of making the Liberals case for them." - Greg McEachern, CBC Power & Politics"Someone who made $10M in salary last year criticizing the capital gain changes is kind of making the Liberals case for them." - Greg McEachern, CBC Power & Politics
Under Mulroney's Conservative govt the capital gains inclusion rate (the portion of your gain that is taxed) was 75%. Today's inclusion rate is 50% and is being raised to 66%
Most Canadians never have capital gains income, so many don’t clearly understand what it is. #Poilievre is scoring again with misinformation.

Have a look at this #DougFord ServiceOntario kiosk located inside a Staples store.@legume Sweet deal for Staples & Ford.
John Lederer, the executive chairman of the "under-performing" retailer Staples, donated money to both #DougFord's leadership campaign and the Ontario Conservative party to help get Ford elected back in 2018.
The contract given to Staples was sole-sourced and not put to tender, meaning other companies could not openly bid on it. The arrangement means the loss of good-paying union jobs as these kiosks are staffed by lower paid employees. #onpoli
