I have a website with a recently installed nodeBB forum that is aimed towards personal privacy industry.

The entire forum has guest posting enabled for privacy reasons.

Is there a way to:

1. Disable ip address tracking forum wide.

2. Present a question / answer challenge when users post to prevent abuse?
   I am aware of Google captcha but due to privacy concers this is not a possible option for us.

Ideally, if there can be a "Privacy Mode" toggle in admin settings when enabled would disable ip forum wide ip address tracking that would be awesome.

Hi everyone. I was wondering if there is any file editor in nodeBB. I tried looking in the menu but couldn't find such an option. Other then template editor is there a way to edit or create new files or modify existing files in current nodeBB install?

I am using the default Vanilla theme and was wondering if there is anyway I can remove the following red area in screenshot from posts.

Ideally if there is a css I can apply that would be great if someone can provide that. If no css can you please point me towards what file or code I need to modify to remove that bar from posts.

Hi everyone,

I have created around 100 categories for my new forum.

I would like to enable guests to post but I dont want to go in and manually set permissions on over 100 categories.

Is there a way to bulk allow all categories to allow guest posting?

I just installed my forum. Is there a way to remove the number next to each category that is displayed on the homepage?

I am currently using the "Vanilla" theme that comes with nodeBB.
