One of the core problems with "fact checking" as it is currently practiced by mainstream journalists: the volume of the reporting is completely out of proportion with the scope and frequency of the lies.

I wasn't aware of this till now. The abuse of market dominance@Privacymatters Related: anecdotally, from using Protonmail, both Google and Microsoft can be aggressive in rejecting email from addresses served by protonmail.

So, Mike Huckabee is offering a "free" kids guide to a second Trump presidency. So, Mike Huckabee is offering a "free" kids guide to a second Trump presidency.
But in MAGA world, "free" means getting billed for a recurring subscription.

Lol. Mozilla just sent out a fundraising email.Lol. Mozilla just sent out a fundraising email.
To paraphrase: we put a lot of pressure on a company. They told us they would release a new privacy policy in August. It's September, and nothing has happened, but really, that's a good thing that they didn't do the thing they pinky-swore they would.
So will you give us money?
LOL.
To start, don't celebrate a new privacy policy until you see it. changed != better

This is true: "In context, the Tenet Media episode shouldn’t be blown out of proportion. The other piece on this: the money went to people with a track record of pushing pro-Kremlin disinformation and conspiracy theories.
EVERY content creator has other distribution channels in addition to Tenet. So while Tenet wasn't huge, the content creators had a lucrative runway to keep producing (most generously) useful idiot style content.
And seriously - who doesn't research someone willing to pay 100K a week? That strains belief.

This is a direct quote from Trump as he campaigns. This is a direct quote from Trump as he campaigns.
He literally says that children from outside the US are "taking disease" to other children in schools.
This was reported as an aside in this AP article.
The racism and the xenophobia are off the charts, and our media has normalized it to the point to where it doesn't even get more than a passing nod.
This level of hate from Republicans is weird and destructive.

If Kamala Harris had gone deep into plans, mainstream press would be criticizing her for being "too dry" or "not warm enough" or "too wonky."@TopKnot @toast @kamalaharrisforpresidentnews They'll all be destroyed eventually.
The present crop of MAGA loyalists will just be destroyed last.

Trump rarely has details. And when he does, they are filled with lies, racism, and hate. And he is never called on it.
The difference between how Harris and Trump get treated is striking. It's clear the mainstream press don't care about proposals. They care about being able to both-sides their coverage

RFK jr to drop out - and likely to endorse Trump. cc: @kamalaharrisforpresidentnewsBut the most important question: who will be endorsed by the dead worm in his brain?
