* Capitalism was born from/with chattel slavery.
* More than a third of the world population lives in poverty (as very conservatively defined by capitalist institutions). A quarter of them live in extreme poverty. The majority of the people out of poverty live in debts.
* Out of the dozens and dozens of capitalist countries in the world, none managed to get rid of poverty and inequality through capitalism despite various levels of regulation. Actually inequalities are reduced by actively acting against capitalism and it actors.
* Modern slavery has been on the rise for years of not decades.
If capitalism is *really* the best we've come up so far, then we need to get rid of it and find something even better, because it's as good at resolving inequality as leeches are at curing anemia.
