Ironically, when my wife discontinued her NYT subscription because of their fuckery, WaPo and LA Times were two of the outlets she was looking at to replace as her news source. They're, obviously, now off that list. Recent moves by Philly Inquirer put them on her list of possible replacements, but she's also been asking me if I knew of other worthy candidates. So, I'm replying here so she can see the list you quoted.

Some of what was said in the thread (and in the MAGA community more-broadly) smacks of having no self-confidence. I was speculating that maybe some of the shittiness on display would be prevented if those people had been raised to be more self-confident. -
