Be careful not to promote a non-existent model that combines the best aspects of each model of PR, even though these aspects are mutually incompatible!

E.g. with PR using 7-member ridings (dividing all of BC into ~13 ridings), you need >12.5% of the vote in a riding to guarantee getting a seat.

And in many elections we'd still be waiting for the postal votes to see which parties made it over/under the various thresholds (though I'm happy to wait if the system is fairer)

Are you advocating for PR with zero ridings, i.e. potentially no nearby representatives?

Is the NDP's outperformance in mail-in ballots an every-election thing, or is it happening because the BC Cons are new and disorganised and didn't encourage their supporters to do postal votes?
