Hello,
I want to add "Rules" button on composer like this. When user click the button, it should open a popup which contain our forum rules (like what "Help" button does). Anyone know how to do it?
Thank you so much for your help

@Konsta-Gogoljuk : no, that wouldn't be a problem since I also run it with a root user and everything work fine
awesome, this what I'm looking for
thanks
yes.. I'm agree with this
That would be cool if parent category also showing all posts from it's sub categories
@Sim yes, you can disable it to bring the start screen back
@a_5mith happen on me too..
I've used the correct version..it does show the settings and new widget area, however nothing happen on homepage except a new forum button appear at menu bar.
@Konsta-Gogoljuk try to check your installation folder permission, make sure it's owned by user you use to run NodeBB
chown -R user:user installationfolder
Restart NodeBB after you change that
@RazorAxis: It still work fine on my site (NodeBB 0.6.0), what version did you use?

A possible expansion of this plugin would be to potentially reject posts containing certain words. Not that you'd be looking to block posts of those who curse, but if you were having spammers manually register and post a similar message, you could use a string from that message to prevent it from being posted.
Yeah, +1 for this
That would be an awesome spam blocker plugin
I have Windows related site so I tested and review Windows 10 regularly since it's first preview release
Overall I like it..I think it's a major improvement of Windows 8.x.
And about your caps lock & num lock problem, it's usually caused by incompatibility driver which mostly happen in pre-release OS
I like the come back of start menu and virtual desktop, however I think the cortana integration to desktop OS is something useless
@Konsta-Gogoljuk I don't see any problem at your site
I've checked and all links are working fine
which links are broken?
Soryy, my bad
I've solved this
It's simply solved by drag and drop panel header to the widget
thanks
Hello,
I have input the widget title in widget configuration, however it doesn't show up on my forum
how to fix this?
not yet @Nifty
@Nifty nope..only some style & template customization, I'm not modify anything on the database
however it already has several discussion which I also want to migrate
PS:
I never had experience with Node.js based platform like NodeBB before
Previously I always work with PHP & MySQL based platform which quite easy to migrate by copying the file and import the database on the new server
Hello there,
I'm new with NodeBB but I'm really happy with it
Recenty I have install NodeBB and made some customization in my development server
Now it's ready to live and time to migrate NodeBB installation to my main server
How to migrate NodeBB installation in a correct way?
Should I reinstall NodeBB again from scratch?
Thank you so much for your help
@Nifty wow..thanks a ton!
I'll be waiting for the release
@Nifty wow..that's sounds great,
however it would be awesome if user's avatar could be imported too.
is your MyBB importer available for download? If it's possible I'm interested to try it on my test environment
@vegetagz6 I think it's because the competition in forum platform has been increased in the last few months. There are a lot of "new and modern" forum coming which may "eat" their market share. There is no other choice for them except get back to work and make sure they can survive in this competition.
Not only PHPBB, MyBB also released it's new version (MyBB 1.8) to keep relevant with this modern world, and sometimes they need to make a huge change and rewrite everything to survive
@Nifty My forum has 82000 posts, 5800 threads, and 10000 members
