A feature able to install NodeBB as a Windows Service so that NodeBB will run in the background and automatically start once the computer has booted up.
nodebb service -install
to install NodeBB serviceOnce installed, nodebb start
and all nodebb
commands are global and the NodeBB instance be started with a command prompt in any directory.
@pichalite
Ok great will check them out
@PitaJ
Yes. I am using Windows 10. Ermm... is there anyway to have a mail service without changing my operating system?
This happens when I attempt to send an email through the ACP.
The sendmail executable could not be found, please ensure it is installed and executable by the user running NodeBB.
If you know a solution for this, please reply asap!
Much Thanks!
@julian said in Question: CSS for Theme:
Hi @EnDylan -- your best bet would be to create a new theme, either by forking one of the existing themes (like Persona!), or creating a new one using a skeleton theme such as https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-theme-quickstart
Okay. Thanks!
How to do that?
@pichalite I think you misunderstood my question. What I meant is to compile the CSS into a theme and not type it into the ACP. I understand that my staff would still be able to look for the CSS but it would be more difficult for them to do so if it was a theme.
Is there a way which I can have a theme using CSS instead of inputting them into the ACP.
I want to do this to prevent my staff from stealing the site's CSS code.
Bad gateway might occur due to an incorrect setting in your Proxy.
It is recommended by me to use Nginx as it is easy to setup and apparently automatically recovers after a bad gateway.
What Operating System Are you using?
Hello.
Please try npm update
Afterwards do ./nodebb upgrade
This will force an update on the dependencies. The second command updates NodeBB
@julian
Ok. Thanks.
Hi. I am constantly getting a session mismatch error. This happens on all my computers that have my account login to. I can't login or do anything.
I am hosting it using a Windows 10 Enterprise, Redstone 1 computer to host. Could this be caused by cloudflare?
