Thanks to @KeithAmmann 's wonderful thread, today I read the 'UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights'.

I always assumed it was a dry document full of dense inscrutable legalese. But no, it is indeed a beautifully written piece of text.

It is also terse. And definitely worth reading through in entirety:
