The browser itself should intercept any photo you try to upload to the web and ask you if you want to remove the metadata before a single byte is transferred.@webhat @older @forteller "toggle a check to strip metadata" is one of those shit jobs offloaded to the user; what's a "metadata"?

The browser itself should intercept any photo you try to upload to the web and ask you if you want to remove the metadata before a single byte is transferred.@webhat @older @forteller longer answer: no, because the OS and file selection dialog has no idea about what the app is going to do with the file, and you don't want a photo editing app to get all the metadata stripped from a file when opening a photo

#Gnome should lower the threshold for when it starts notifying you of low battery on peripherals.@forteller you can always file an issue against gnome-settings-daemon or gnome-control-center, and the maintainers will direct you to the right place if it's not appropriate.
The component that pops up the notification is gnome-settings-daemon, but the thresholds are set in upower.
