Newsletter: The recent Second Circuit decision in Hachette v. Internet Archive is only the latest battle in the war on libraries and the freedom to read.Another great newsletter.
I am however left with the desire for a national emergency librarian. A button you press and a hologram appears telling people nearby to be quiet, or suggest a good book to read.

Newsletter: Even the most pro-Trump crypto faithful think Trump’s new crypto scheme is a terrible idea. Happy Labor Day. I wrote a Wikipedia article about the gay, anarchist, anti-profit publishing collective Come!Unity Press (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Come!Unity_Press) after stumbling across a poster they printed in 1971.@molly0xfff Now I'm imagining a Wikipedia editor as a character. A very knowledgeable druid who can pacify angry characters by talking to them, sometimes eventually putting them to sleep, or on the other win any argument they want to, wearing down the opposition until they just leave.

Some great stuff there.
Nice vocabulary flex on palimpsestic, something this printing/graphics nerd did not know.

I break down yet another poll out of the cryptocurrency industry.THE POLL IS F'ING GREAT!
It's Friday, I'm going to guess it's a great poll and there is absolutely no reason anybody ever should worry about the crypto industry and certainly not subscribe to Molly White's newsletter. Absolutely don't do that.
Now where is my Friday afternoon beer.
